eS Footwear
ES Footwear was launched in 1995 by Sole Tech founders Don Brown and Pierre André Senizergues. The goal was to revolutionize the then somewhat one-sided skate shoe market with varied, somewhat more athletic footwear. The inspiration were the likes of the legendary team around Chad Muska, Eric Koston and Tom Penny. The designs were unique and way ahead of their time. Classics like the ES Accel still enjoy great popularity within the skate scene. In 2000, ES launched their first video "Menikmati", which was significantly responsible for the long-lasting success of the brand. In the following years ES was able to sign pros like PJ Ladd, Bobby Worrest or Nyjah Huston. After some turbulent years, Brown and Senizergues decided to temporarily put the footwear brand on ice due to declining demand. Die-hard ES fans, however, always called for a comeback.
In 2014, Sole Tech officials decided to relaunch the famous ES Accel. The reintroduction was a complete success. Today, ES continues to focus on their classic models, but with new features, materials and finishes. In addition to the ES Accel and the ES Accel Slim, the Swift and the Quattro are among the most popular models. Sustainable production of all products is a high priority.
The current ES team is also more than impressive with pros like TJ Rogers, Kelly Hart, Wade DesArmo and Tom Asta.
