Birdhouse Skateboards
Founded in 1992 by Per Welinder and none other than Tony Hawk, arguably the most famous skateboarder of all time. As a gifted vert skater, Hawk was the first to land the 900, developed the successful video game Tony Hawks Pro Skater together with Activision and filmed countless groundbreaking video parts for Powell Peralta, Birdhouse, Adio Footwear or Bones Wheels along the way. Welinder and Hawk managed to recruit a renowned team of die-hard street skaters who continue to make their mark on skateboarding. The successful careers of Andrew Reynolds, Steve Berra, Willy Santos or Heath Kirchart all started at Birdhouse Skateboards. The current Birdhouse team includes Lizzie Armanto, Jaws, Clive Dixon or Clint Walker, who give the brand the necessary tailwind.
In addition to various Hawk Pro models, the product range includes some coveted reissues of old graphics and a small but fine clothing and accessory line. The classic Birdhouse graphics, which are defined by bright colors and a comic-like style, are still pretty popular.
